Patricia K. Franke's Obituary
Patricia Kay Franke, 65 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. She was born July 6, 1947 in Prairie Grove, AR to Albert Bivens and Nellie (Hooten) Bivens.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Fayetteville, the Jaycettes, transplant support groups, and Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency. After her heart transplant in 1996, she enjoyed speaking to different groups to promote transplant awareness and organ donation.
She is survived by her husband Walter B. Franke, one daughter; Jennifer Westphal and husband Cliff of Bella Vista, AR, one sister; Rita Huff of Shell Knob, MO, and one grandson; Nathaniel Westphal of Bella Vista, AR. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday September 14th in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
