Patrick Dooley Murphy's Obituary
Patrick Dooley Murphy, age 76, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on April 10, 2026, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on March 1, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Lewis Murphy, Jr. and Jeanne Ann (Cooper) Murphy. Patrick was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He married Jessica Ann Williamson on February 25, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee. Patrick was a financial advisor with Edward Jones for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Murphy, Jr. and Jeanne Ann Murphy; sister, Georgia Ann Murphy; brother, Michael David Murphy; and brother-in-law, James Allison McNeill II.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Jessica Ann Murphy; daughters, Stephanie Gene Williamson (Adam) of Fayetteville, and Elizabeth Ann Quesenberry (Wendell) of Springdale; grandchildren, Wendell Norris Quesenberry Jr., Alayna Elizabeth Cloyd, and Christian Arron Cloyd; siblings, Pamela Sue Clarke of North Carolina, Gerald Day Murphy of Atoka, Tennessee, and Liberty Dawn Rasar of Millington, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Barbara Jo McNeill of Longview, Texas; and many loved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held, 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2026, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 224 N East Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701.
