Patrick E Pickett's Obituary
Patrick Ercil Pickett, 71, passed away on April 7, 2025 in Rogers. He was born on May 26, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Elvin and Elizabeth “Alleen” (Crook) Pickett.
He was a graduate of Little Rock High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arkansas.
He worked for 28 years at Tyson foods in Research and Development, retiring as the manager of the Discovery Center in 2014. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, serving as a director of the Tyson Bass Tournament for many years and owning his own trout guide fishing business. He enjoyed a good baseball cap, western novel, law enforcement show, and Labrador retriever curled up by his feet. He loved to travel in the great outdoors, namely Colorado and Yellowstone.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pamela (Spohnholz) Pickett; daughter, Elizabeth Suzanne Reynebeau (Peter); grandchildren, Kyler David, Caroline Claire, and Carson Patrick; Uncle Myron Cox; cousins Robert (Lori) Cox and Michael Cox; and brother James Phillip Pickett (Lynda).
A visitation will be Friday, 1-2pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Rogers, with service to follow at 2pm. Burial will be at Elm Springs Cemetery, Elm Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Springdale Police Department Shop with a Cop program.
