Patsy Sue Ashley's Obituary
Patsy Sue Ashley, age 81, of West Fork, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Fayetteville. She was born April 26, 1937 in Clinton, Arkansas the daughter of William and Della Carroll Bates. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Jeffrey Ashley and two brothers Billy Bates and Don Bates.
She was an employee of Walmart for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Ashley; three sons, Russell Ashley & his wife Kimberly of Newton, Iowa, John Ashley & his wife Kathy of Hampshire, Illinois & David Ashley of Island Lake, Illinois; a daughter-in-law Shannon Ashley Collins of Rogers, Arkansas; three sisters, Myrna Wise of Green Forest, Arkansas, Dianna McCurdy of West Fork & Louise Vaught of West Fork; a brother Dennis Bates of Winslow, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Nicole Herrera, Johnny Ashley, Jeremiah Ashley, Andrew Ashley & Jesse Ashley and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Moore’s Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the chapel. Burial will be in West Fork Cemetery.
