Patsy Ann Woodward's Obituary
In loving memory of Patsy Ann Woodward, who passed away on April 4, 2024, in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 71. Patsy was born on June 18, 1952, in Liberal, Kansas, to her beloved parents Margie and Sam Woodward. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, and mother, known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family.
Patsy was preceded in death by her dear mother, Margie, father, Sam, brother, Gene Woodward, son, Jason Pelfrey, and grandson Brandon Pelfrey. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
She is survived by her loving husband, Paul, whom she married on May 22, 1981, in Farmington, Arkansas. Patsy leaves behind her sons, Michael Pelfrey, Sean Woodward, and Neil Woodward, whom she adored beyond measure. She was a devoted sister to Becky and Glenda, and her family brought her happiness and fulfillment.
Patsy's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Bryce Pelfrey and wife Kristi, Brooke Hollowoa and husband Derek, Holly Doster and husband Clay, Madison Perdue and husband Kyle, Garrett Woodward, Mahala Annesley, and Weston Woodward. Her great-grandchildren, Gabriel Pelfrey, Bentley Perdue, Marcie Perdue, Beo Smiley, and Preston Hollowoa, were the light of her life, bringing her endless happiness and love.
Known for her love of family and faith, Patsy cherished her role as a grandmother above all. She found immense joy in spending time with her loved ones, creating beautiful memories that will be treasured forever. Patsy and Paul shared a deep love and enjoyed summers camping together, sharing laughter and love in the great outdoors.
Patsy will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her kindness and gentle spirit. Her generous heart will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In this time of loss, may we find comfort in the memories we shared with Patsy and the love she bestowed upon us all. She will forever remain in our hearts as a shining beacon of love, faith, and kindness. Rest in peace, dear Patsy Ann Woodward.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, at 1:00 PM, with Funeral Service starting at 2:00 PM at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Crosses Creek Cemetery in Crosses, Arkansas under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
