Patty Lee Hoofard's Obituary
Patty Lee Hoofard, 64, passed away on March 27, 2026 in Rogers. She was born on May 21, 1961 to Vernon Lee and Willa (Taylor) Hayworth.
Patty loved nature, animals, photography, and the ocean. As newlyweds, she and Dale spent many vacations scuba diving and snorkeling before later raising show cattle, where Patty was known for treating her cows like giant puppies.
She discovered her passion for photography while working at the Walmart Fuji Photo Lab, and later pursued nursing, earning her Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma from NTI. Patty found her calling in nursing and rehabilitation centers across Northwest Arkansas, where she cared for others with dignity and compassion. She had a special gift for connecting with every resident, and they loved her deeply. In her free time, Patty devoted herself to her two beautiful granddaughters, who could always bring a smile to her face even on her worst days - a smile that will be forever missed.
Patty was preceded in death by her uncle, Glen Hayworth; father, Vernon L. Hayworth; and husband, Dale E. Hoofard;
She is survived by her mother, Willa Hayworth; brother, Vernon Ray Hayworth; daughter & son-in-law, Marina and Jose Canizales; and two precious granddaughters, Lily Sirena and Evelyn Rose Canizales.
A visitation will be on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 10 until 11am at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers with a graveside service to follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
