Pattye Vada Lester's Obituary
Pattye Vada Lester, 82, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on December 14, 2022. She was born on June 26, 1940, in Memphis, Tennessee to M.A. and Mildred Powell.
Pattye was a lifelong follower of Jesus, a member of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a retired schoolteacher and enjoyed gardening, sewing and genealogical research.
Pattye is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roy F. Lester, Jr.
She is survived by one son, Peter Lester (Martha); one daughter, Karen Lester; three grandchildren, Trajan Lester (Hannah), Asha Lester and Erin Ortiz (Brian); and four great grandchildren, Millie Lester, Oliver Lester, William Lester and Caroline Lester.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville on Monday, December 19, 2022, at 11:00AM under the direction of Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Fayetteville or Hope Cancer Resources.
