Paul A. Byers' Obituary
Paul A. “Pavel” Byers, age 55, of Fayetteville died Friday June 21, 2013. He was born December 11, 1957 in San Diego, California to Alan Joseph Byers and Carol Collins Byers. He was a member of Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, served as a tanker in the U.S. Army, and was very active in the Society for Creative Anachronism. He worked 29 years as a computer technician at the University of Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Natalia Karnes; his daughter, Alex Byers of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Mike Byers and his wife Lisa, of Morrilton, Arkansas; sister, Helen Tash and her husband Randy, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two nephews, Joe Byers and Caleb Byers, their families, and many, many friends.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am Thursday June 27, 2013 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. A private interment of ashes will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
