Paul "Eddie" Edward Scott's Obituary
Paul “Eddie” Edward Scott, age 60, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Eddie was born on December 7, 1964, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Harold “Don” Donald Scott and Irene “Cathy” Catherine Geary. He married Donnell Stalter on May 5, 2001, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. They owned and operated The Oil Doctor in Fort Smith.
Eddie never allowed his boat to sink or his crew to drown. His dedication to excellence was inspirational and led to many entrepreneurial experiences and creative endeavors, including his own version of “Cash Cab” when he previously drove a taxi and providing front door service to his Oil Doctor customers. His energy was contagious and inspired others over the years whether that was coaching youth sports, striving for the perfect bowling game, or caring for his pets.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Cathy. He is survived by his wife, Donnell; children, Sarah (Bryce) and Scotty; mother of his children, Nannette Scott-Zarceño; stepchildren, Brekke Hyatt, Archie Hyatt, III, and Joseph Hyatt; father, Don Scott and stepmother Rhonda Scott; siblings, Robert Jason Keenan, Kim Marshall, Charles Muse, and Lisa Quick; and grandchildren, Adena and Frances Bossin.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for April 5th from 2:00-4:00 pm at Bowling World. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to: NW Arkansas Humane Society (https://nwahumanesocietyforanimals.org/). Cremation arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
