Paul Edward Petty Jr. passed away November 28,2017 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born March 28, 1944 in Little Rock, the son of Paul Petty Sr. and Emma Petty of England, Arkansas. Survivors are a sister, Rebecc Read Obituary
I was Paul's roommate at Tulane 65-66 and we remained close friends long after. Lost track in the late 80s. He had a great wit, a wicked sense of humor. And could be outrageously funny. I still laugh when I think of some of his best pranks.
Paul was a dear friend and co-worker. We worked together at National Airlines first. Then, Pan Am. He and I took many trips together (Buenos Aires, Berlin, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Lisbon and many U.S. destinations.) We worked together in New Orleans, Houston, Alexandria (Va.), and Miami. Were room mates at one point and then, neighbors. Our lives were enter-twined for many years. Intelligent, witty, and kind. I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
So sad to hear about Paul! We worked together with National Airlines and PanAm for many years. The last time I saw him was in New Orleans right before Katrina. He had an incredible sense of humor! Fly high, my friend!!!
