Paul kept me in stitches during the incredibly hot summer of 1956 when we were both 'yard birds' at Chandler Materials CO. A sophomore center on the CHS football team at the time, I was very glad I never had to go one-on-one with him or do the "bull in the ring" drill since he was varsity and I was not there yet. He dominated every practice and game with his prodigious and aggressive play and, always, his incredible humor. He loved the game...and he was loved.

Sixty one plus years ago I hosted the engagement dinner at my Dallas M street apartment for Susan and Paul. Susan was living with me at that time. What a wonderful life they have shared. He will be missed.
Paul & Susan were always so very very nice to me down here in Dallas as I was a member of the Dallas Razorback Club with them ..Susan , I am very sorry to hear this news but I know Red is Calling the Hogs in Heaven!
