Sandra Ward (Great Aunt)
Pearl was a very, very strong woman. I hold her up highly. She faced many troubled times in her life but always with the grace of God got through those times. I remember the days I would stay home from school just because I knew my mom was going to take Pearl somewhere. The Sonic days were the best. She always had to have it and if I didn't want anything she would make me get something anyway. Helping her in the car was always the best. She would get so tickled if you would tell her you were gonna goose her. I will especially miss her cookies. She was the only woman that I ever knew that could make the best cookies. Pearl was a tough woman and she could conquer anything. She is looking down on us from above and she is waiting for her moment to pay us back with a little "goose".
