Pearl Marie Cook's Obituary
Pearl Marie Cook, 89 of Springdale, AR went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March3, 2005 in Springdale, AR. She was born July 27, 1915 in Kingston, Arkansas to Jonnie and Catherine (Tucker) Cline.
She was a long time resident of Springdale, spending her earlier years in Kingston, AR. She was married to Euel Cook on March 4, 1931 by J.W. Porter at Alabam, Arkansas. Pearl was saved at age 17 in 1933, joining the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church at Kingston in 1939. After moving to Springdale she joined the Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in 1952. She loved her church and serving the Lord. She was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary for many years. She loved working in her yard and garden, always having beautiful flowers that she shared with everyone.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Euel Cook, two brothers, Onnie Cline, Ordie Cline, five sisters, Allie Cline, Tennie Ward, Tressie Byers, Beula Thomas, Nellie Cook, and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were her own children, many friends and loved ones, and her caregiver and special friend Margie Arredonda. "We Will All Miss Her Very Much".
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, AR from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM with the family present to greet friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2005 at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale, AR. with Reverends Loy Counts, Johnny Sisemore, and Jason Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, AR.
