Peggy Ann King's Obituary
Peggy Ann King, age 92, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday April 3, 2019. She was born July 3, 1926 in Wilmington, California to Arvil and Daisy Anderson Toney. She attended Elkins Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years Carl King last month; three brothers Vol Toney, James Toney and Robert Toney and one sister Marion Drake.
She was a homemaker and loved to watch the birds, was an avid reader but loved being a grandmother above all things.
She is survived by three daughters Elaine King of Fayetteville, Carol Craun and her husband Jerry of Lockesburg, Arkansas and Connie King James and her husband Don of Durham, Arkansas; one son Brett King and his wife Barbara of Ingleside, Texas; Five grandchildren Chris Craun, Casey Craun, Jennifer Freeman, Lisa Millsap, Leanne King and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sunday April 7, 2019 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Moore’s Chapel. No graveside services will be held and burial will be in Kings Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your church or local food pantries or any charity of your choosing.
