We were very sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. We will always remember the wonderful time we spent with Her and Wade at the Miller family reunion several years ago
Peggy was a wonderful, friendly lady who did so much but always seemed to have time for neighbors and others. When I first met her, we had recently moved to Crest Dr. and Susan and Kim were in Mrs. Jewel's 2nd grade class at Root Elementary School. Someone called and asked me to be one of the room mothers for the class and Peggy was the chair person. That was in the days of Halloween Carnivals and lots of other activities but Peggy made our job easy. She either knew everyone or got to know them and helped get children and parents involved. Working with her was a wonderful introduction to Root and the neighborhood.
Over the years, Peggy was always so friendly and would invite the neighbors in from time to time At times, some of the other neighbors, Peggy, and I would walk together. She really pushed herself to regain strength after some health problems and never complained that I know of.
I always enjoyed seeing her at our grandchildren's sporting events and at church. Although it was a good time for her to move, we missed her on Crest Dr. She will be greatly missed by many people--everyone who knew her. She truly embodies the spirit of the words "neighbor" and "friend".
Dear Hansen and Ragland Families,
We are so saddened that you have lost your mother, grandmother, great grandmother and one of our favorite cousins, but at the same time, she is finally with the loved ones who have left before her and at peace.
Peggy Lou was an exceptional woman. She was very upbeat, smart as a whip and like a sister to my mother. I always looked forward to spending summer vacation with you all. She was very loving to me and will always have a special place in my heart. God bless you all through this trying time.
Love,
Mitch and Lolly Miller

Dear Hansen Family, We are very sorry for your loss. Take care, Steve and Karen
I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.
