Peter Gogocha's Obituary
Peter Gogocha, 83, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, September 11 at Washington Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 10, 1927, at Brachika, Ukraine to Basel Vasal and Anna Palamore Gogocha.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and volunteered for Gospel Tracts International. He was a member of the Mt. Comfort Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Laureen Gogocha; two sons: John and wife Carin Gogocha of McAllen, TX, Mike and wife Vicki Gogocha of Rockford, MI; a daughter Cindy and husband Dale Walker of Norman, OK; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a brother Basel Gogocha of Lvov, Ukraine.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday the 16th at Mt. Comfort Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Wednesday the 15th at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Tracts International or Paragould Children’s Home.
