Philip Henry Weber's Obituary
Philip Henry Weber, age 73, of Fayetteville Ark., passed away on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. Philip, fondly known as “Phil”, was born on May 6th, 1950, in Little Rock, Ark. to Joseph and Helen Weber. Growing up alongside eight siblings, Phil enjoyed a life full of family, bicycling, and craft beer.
He attended St. Edward Parochial School and Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock, Ark. After he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Hendrix College, Phil pursued a professional career in Respiratory Therapy. During his many years of caring for patients in Little Rock and then Northwest Arkansas, he always found time to enjoy his bicycle. In retirement, he joined several local cycling clubs and was known for racking up 15,000 miles on his bicycle each year. He was an avid supporter of the bicycle ride named after his parents, The Joe and Helen Weber Arky 100.
Phil loved to care for people. He was an involved father, helping to coach sports teams and film many dance competitions. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Olivia Jane, and cherished how fast she was growing.
Phil was preceded in death by infant son, Philip Andrew Weber; mother, Helen Weber; and father, Joseph Weber.
He is survived by wife of 35 years, Barbara Lovin; daughter, Hannah (Ryan) DuChanois of Houston; granddaughter, Olivia Jane; and eight siblings, Raymond (Paul), Patrick (Jackie), Rodney, Paul (Lana), Joseph (Wendi), Edward (Angie), and James (Emily) Weber and Bernadette (Patrick) O’Donohue.
A Celebration of Life will be held with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Church Fayetteville or Christ Church Northwest Arkansas.
