It was an honor and with love that Mike and I stood with Phillip and Retha at the wedding. Kevin was the Father and presided. The wedding was at their home in Highfill. I will always cherish the memories of their happiness.
There are so many good memories to share of Phil and Retha. Phillip was my mentor, my dearest friend and substitute Pa.I will always remember his motivational help with my barrel racing dreams.His friendship with Mike which Mike held very dear. I still cherish Manota’s crocheted cover. I also wear each winter a cap like Mike gave Pa after Mikes trip to China. Mike worried about Pa’s head getting cold.so he brought Manota a doll from China, and Pa a heavy fur hat from Mongolia. They laughed and danced in the snow.wearing their hats and knee boots.
