Pilar Giner Jurado's Obituary
Pilar Giner Jurado, 86 of Rogers, AR passed away, Sunday, February 9, 2014 in Bentonville, AR He was born August 17, 1927 in Candelaria, TX to Eugenio Jurado and Concepcion Giner Jurado
He was an avid golfer, a retired farm contractor and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. This loving husband, father and papa will always be remembered for his generous heart, gentle manner and his deep love and affection for his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ruben Jurado.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Jurado, one son, Pilar Jurado, Jr. of Ontario, CA, two daughters, Gisel Ruiz and husband Mike of Rogers, AR, Elda Scott and husband Eric of Rogers, AR, one sister, Maria Campos of Los Banos, CA, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, February 13th from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 AM with Monsignor David LeSieur officiating. Burial will follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers.
In the spirit of Mr. Jurado’s lifetime of generosity and kindness, the family asked that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society to help bring food, clothing and other assistance to those in need. Please mail donations to 1416 West Poplar Rogers, AR 72758.
