Queen Alice Townsend's Obituary
Queen Alice Townsend 93. She was proud to be from Brady, the heart of Texas. A graduate of Brady High School, where she was voted school president, most popular, FFA sweetheart, and homecoming Queen. She was full of joy. Wherever she went she filled the room with love and light. And she was always up for an adventure, such as dancing at the speakeasy in Mason Texas. After retirement from Western Paper Company, she moved to Fayetteville, AR where she enjoyed participating in activities at Ozark Research Institute later in life. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Glenn Townsend, sister, Luzelle Fleming, and brothers Randolph Owens and KY Owens. She was survived by sister Tony Taylor, son Kyle Townsend and his wife Jeania, daughter Cindy Townsend, grandson Blake Townsend and his wife Melanie, and great-granddaughters Melania, Talia, and Mila. We were blessed to have her with us and with love release her to go home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a memorial donation be made to:
