Quinton Dale Tougaw's Obituary
Quinton Dale Tougaw, Sr., 79, of Kingston, AR, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, in Fayetteville. He was born December 21, 1943, in Havana, AR, to the late Orville and Pearl Tougaw. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jerry Karnes.
Quinton was a retired U.S. Army Veteran and a retired postal carrier. He had a love for gardening and family. One of his favorite things was reading the Christmas Story from the Bible every year to his family during the holidays.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Tougaw, three daughters, Melissa McCann (Jason) of Maumelle, AR, Cyndy Childs (Rob Adams) of Prairie Grove, AR, Kathy Boley of Huntsville, AR, two sons, Quinton Dale Tougaw, Jr. (Kristy) of Montrose, CO, Dean Bitner (Tracey) of Lowell, AR, two sisters, Barbara Karnes of Pittsburg, TX, Mary Willard (Hoover) of Belleville, AR, two brothers, Ron Tougaw (Linda) of San Antonio, TX, Dennis Tougaw (Terry) of Burlington, KS, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 21st in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
