Wonderful man who’s love for God was President wherever he was. brother Clark will be missed.
Bro. RE set me on a course and mentored me on what bi-vocational ministry should look like. He guided to both the churches I have been blessed to pastor. I will never forget the days we spent on the mission field in Bosnia and China. I will miss him dearly. But I am beyond happy for him because I know he is looking into the faith of our Savior. I look forward to seeing him again in Glory.
I’ve known Bro R.E. since the ‘70’s when he first surrendered to the ministry at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Watson, LA & when my sister, Janice Bailey, worked for him at the grocery store he owned. He was like a member of our family. He & my brother, Bubba, were best friends. I preached revival meetings for him in the first church he pastored, First Baptist in Port Barre, LA. & in a church he pastored in Wilburton, OK. He was a great man of God who stayed true to God to the end & I believe heard the Lord Jesus say when he entered Heaven, “ Well done, thou good and faithful servant!” He will be missed by many.
