Ralph Edward Hendrickson's Obituary
Ralph Edward Hendrickson, age 76, of Barling, Arkansas, died on December 13, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 1, 1946, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Tom and Bessie (Gray) Hendrickson. Ralph graduated from Springdale High School in 1964. He married Barbara Price on May 23, 1969, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ralph served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked many years as a credit manager, most recently for MBCI in Fort Smith. Ralph was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Bessie Hendrickson; daughter, Theresa Johnston; and brother, Kenneth Hendrickson. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara; son, Douglas Hendrickson of Memphis, Tennessee; daughter, Monica Abel and husband Rob of Lavaca, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Lindsey, Caylin, Jessica, and Brennan; and great grandson, Kasen. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, Arkansas. Funeral arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
