Ray Mooney's Obituary
Ray Mooney, age 69, of West Fork, Arkansas passed away Sunday September 6, 2020. He was born October 7, 1950 in Lexington, Kentucky to Orlan and Marrianne Kiser Mooney. Ray was owner and operator of C.R. Painting for over 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a Bronze Medal recipient. He was in the 101st Calvary and The Screaming Eagles from 1970 - 1971. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Mooney; one daughter, Brenda T. Stringfellow of Fayetteville; three sons, Ray Blythe of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Michael J. Campbell of Farmington, Arkansas, Kiser Mooney of West Fork, Arkansas; one sister, Lisa Moberg of Kentucky; two brothers, Jimmy Blythe and Ricky Blythe both of Kentucky and five grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 11:30 am Friday September 11, 2020 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
