Raymond E. Talbott's Obituary
Mr. Raymond E. Talbott, 86 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004 in Springdale, AR. He was born March 7, 1918 in Row, OK to John W. and Laura (Potter) Talbott.
He was a former mechanic for Boeing Aircraft, a 32 Degree Mason, a Baptist and a World War II U.S. Army Veteran where he was a Staff Sergeant in the 825th Engineer Aviation Battalion.
He is survived by his wife, Stella, two daughters, Linda Dixon of Wellington, KS, Carolyn Murrow of Freedom, OK, two sons, Ray L. Talbott of Ada, OK, Louis Talbott of Boise, ID, one brother, Orville Talbott of Tahlequah, OK, three sisters, Bertha Jenkins, Wellington, KS, Laura Belle Drain of West Fork, AR, Faye Stapleton of Jay, OK, ten grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery with the Bella Vista Post #9063 performing Military Honors.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
