Raymond B. Hatcher's Obituary
Raymond B. Hatcher, age 68, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. He was born on March 11, 1958, in Norfolk, Virginia to parents Richard and Mintie Hatcher.
Ray loved cars and motorcycles since before he could walk. In 1994, He and his wife Kris, opened Ray’s Garage in Springdale, AR. For the next 25 years, Ray’s Garage was one of the most trusted automotive repair shops in Northwest Arkansas where he spent most of his days and formed his most lasting friendships.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph Hatcher.
He is survived by his adoring wife of 36 years, Kris Hatcher; three sons, Roy Hatcher of Fayetteville, Robert “Jake” Hatcher of Westfork, AR, and Bari Hanthorne of Fayetteville; two daughters, Alisha Oldham and Lynzee Powell, both of Rogers; grandchildren, Grace Hatcher, Collin Oldham, and Devon Oldham; great-grandchildren, Ezra Oldham and Talullah Oldham; two brothers, Rudy Hatcher of Fayetteville, AR and Roger Hatcher of Claremore, OK; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at WRMC from CCU and ICU as well as the palliative care team for the care received.
