Raymond Gregory "Greg" Miller's Obituary
Raymond Gregory “Greg” Miller, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born on June 9, 1942, in Buffalo, New York, to Hazel Dorthea Mulligan Miller and Raymond Gordon Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his younger brother, Wendell Frank Miller of Lincolnton, North Carolina; and his stepmother, Mary Margaret Miller of Buffalo, New York.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 42½ years, Helen Ann Miller; and his five children: R. Gregory Miller Jr. (Joanne) of Atlanta, Georgia; Scott M. Miller of Merritt Island, Florida; Matthew T. Miller of Cumberland, Maryland; Mary E. Farrell (Jody) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Christine N. Holland (David) of Cedar Hill, Tennessee. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Greg was a graduate of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He enjoyed a distinguished career in Human Resources and Labor Relations, serving as an executive across a variety of industries, including canned, frozen, and dehydrated foods, poultry, science education, printing, and the airline industry. The favorite part of his career was when he served as Staff Vice President for USAir’s wholly owned Express subsidiary, Henson Airlines, in Salisbury, Maryland.
A devoted member of Christ Church in Fayetteville, Greg faithfully volunteered with Community Meals for many years. In 2012, he experienced a life-changing trip to the Holy Land, where he was baptized in the Jordan River by Dr. Steve Pulliam and Rev. Tony Holifield.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 24, at 1:00 PM at Christ Church NWA, located in the former Sears building at 4201 N. Shiloh Dr., Suite 98, Fayetteville, AR with Dr. Steve Pulliam and Rev. Tony Holifield officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Christ Church NWA.
