Reverend Hurshel Raymond Lessig's Obituary
Reverend Hurshel Raymond Lessig, 76 of Farmington, AR passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Springdale, AR. He was born June 13, 1931 in Lakeland, Fl. To Hurshel Raymond Lessig, Sr. and Laura (List) Lessig.
He was a retired Baptist minister having served as pastor at First Baptist Church in Emmet, AR, New Bethel Baptist Church in Conway, AR and First Baptist Church of Weddington Woods, Fayetteville. He was a member of Sunrise Baptist Fellowship and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his wife; Sylvia Yvonne Lessig, one son; Garold Noel Lessig of Conway, AR, two daughters; Laura Gwynn Lucier of Fayetteville, AR, Lou Ann Grummer of Farmington, AR, one sister; Jeannie Huffman of Union City, IN, seven grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, March 24, 2008 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverends Charlie Brown, David Johnson, and Robert Paulk officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
