Rebecca Gay Goza, age 51, of Rogers, AR, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Born on January 4, 1973, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, she was a beloved individual who touched the lives of many.
Rebecca's love for her family, especially her grandchildren, was unparalleled. Her adventurous spirit led her to cherish moments of travel, creating lasting memories. Faith played a significant role in her life, and she actively participated in the Trinity Fellowship Church. Rebecca's compassionate nature shone through her role as a recovery mentor, providing support and guidance to numerous individuals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Van Roberts, Betty Jean Fowler Roberts, and a brother, Tommy Roberts. Rebecca is survived by her children, Jordan Jones, Lauren Gooch, Allison Herekamp, Alexis Goza, and Abbigail Ward. Her sisters Deborah Thompson, Julie Pollock, Liz Abernathy, and Joye Fratoni were cherished companions. Rebecca leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, reflected in the lives of her grandchildren, Ari, Blake, Abel, Brynn, Kingston, Amiri, and Emerie.
A memorial service to celebrate Rebecca's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, at Trinity Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred to Trinity Fellowship Church at 1100 E. Rolling Hills, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
Rebecca will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the positive impact she had on the lives of those around her.
