Reda Shepherd Hollingsworth's Obituary
Reda Shepherd Hollingsworth, a beloved figure in the Springdale community, passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on August 22, 1948, in Crosses, AR, Reda was the daughter of Delbert and Velma Shepherd. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold Dean Shepherd, 1st husband David Wood, 2nd Husband William Hollingsworth.
Reda led a fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She dedicated years of service to Standard Register and also found fulfillment as a retired turkey farmer. Family was at the center of Reda's world, and she treasured every moment spent with her daughters, Gina Ranney (Steven) and Teresa Fisher (Steve), along with her sister, Patsy Shepherd, and her grandchildren, Nick Fisher (Bonnie), Kyra Moore (Ryan), Hannah Riggs (Jim), Camden Ross, and Rachel Ross. Her great-grandchildren, Ellis, Felix, Theo, Violet, Juniper, and Ivy brought her immense joy as well as Aunt Floy Robins & cousin Anita Robins.
Reda's passion for sewing manifested in countless handmade dresses for her grandchildren, showcasing her talent and affection. She found enjoyment in the company of friends and family, often sharing laughter and good times at the casino.
A celebration of Reda's life will be held Saturday, May 11 from 1-3 p.m. at Victory Church, 250 Industrial Cir. E, Springdale, AR, 72762, allowing friends and family to honor and remember the impact she made on their lives. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Nelson Berna Funeral Home. Reda Shepherd Hollingsworth will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for those dear to her heart.
