Reed Vogel's Obituary
Reed Vogel, age 65, of Fayetteville, passed from this life September 30, 2020 in Fayetteville. He was born October 24, 1954, in Sac City, Iowa to Eugene and Normadine Pautsch Vogel. Upon graduation from Wall Lake High School, Reed moved to Omaha, NE for business school where he met and married Cindy (Hansen) on August 5, 1978. They lived in the Omaha area until 2004 when they relocated to Fayetteville, AR.
Reed’s family was most important to him. He enjoyed many family reunions and especially loved time with his grandchildren. Even though illness took his speech, he never lost his smile and was still able to communicate with his granddaughters in his own way. He enjoyed watching and learning all about nature and history.
Reed is survived by his wife Cindy; two daughters, Megan Vogel of Fayetteville and Lindsey Grebe and her husband John of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; two granddaughters, Emmerson and Charlotte Grebe; his brother Reginald Vogel (Connie) of Polk City, Iowa, and two sisters Vickie Vogel (Kay Cox) of Thornton, Colorado, Patricia Dorr (Tim) of New Lisbon, Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews. Reed was preceded in death by his parents.
