You spent many hours in our home, especially after a football game, and I tended to you and Clay's aches and painsthat occurred during the game. We shall never forget you. I will always remember Richard, who was one of my brother - Clay's - best friends. He was always at our house during high school, and we felt as though he was part of our family. He had a beautiful smile and was a loving and friendly young man. I was deeply saddened when learning of his tragic accident, as my family always talked of Richard and remembered him fondly. My deepest condolences go out to his wife, children, his parents and siblings - what a loss for all of us - especially for them. Richard - you will never be forgotten...

Dear Rhonda & Boys,
Even though I haven't seen you in many years, I've kept up with your lives and accomplishments through Don. I have such happy memories of Richard ... especially on the boat catching speckled trout! We were so very sorry to hear about your loss. Richard was a wonderful husband, father, and neighbor. He will be missed.

Matthew, Jacob, and Kyle, you were lucky to have such a close relationship with your father. Remember all the wonderful times you had with him and share your stories with each other.
