Richard Frederick Robinson's Obituary
Mr. Richard Frederick Robinson, 61, of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 in Fayetteville. He was born September 26, 1946 in Long Beach, CA to Fellie Fred Robinson and Laverne Hinkle Robinson.
He was retired from the Veteran's Administration as a Hospital Administrator having served at the Fayetteville Veteran's Administration Medical Center from 1990 until 1999 and has been the Director of Pharmacy for Harp's Food Stores since 2000. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of The Gideons International, and a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Parko Robinson, his father Fellie Fred Robinson of Apple Valley, CA, two sons: Matthew Robinson and wife Breon of Fayetteville, Nathan Robinson and wife Cherry of Springdale; three daughters: Amy Schwartz and husband Bernie of Los Angeles, CA, Rebecca McNeill and husband Nick of Little Rock, AR, Laura Boen and husband John of Lincoln, England; two sisters: Judi Collins and husband Bill of Apple Valley, CA, Virginia Robinson of Redlands, CA; one brother: Mark Robinson of Hartford, AL; and two granddaughters: Sarah Juliane Schwartz and Madeline Frances McNeill.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Ft. Smith National Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Fellowship Bible Church, 2000 West Emma Street in Springdale, AR with Pastors John Glasser and Steve Barthelemy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 8181 Springdale, AR 72766.
