I met Dick Daniel at Apple Blossom. He was a great Man His Smile Intelligence and His way of connecting with People.
If You had a question or problem. He knew the answer and how to solve it. He was a great Engineer and Inventor.
His contribution to Engineering , Education and Community Remain. Dick Shared a lot about His Life and tI was Honor to know Him.
I will always Remember Dick as the Caregiver and His devotion to His Wife. He was a great Man and was blessed with a great Family. I will miss Him but He lived Life to it's fullest.

I worked for Dick when he joined FM Corporation. His leadership, and personal investment, sustained the company, and saved many jobs during a very hard time. When I think or hear the word “integrity,” I think of Dick and the example he set.

I had the pleasure of working almost nine years under the leadership of Dick, as a Mechanical Engineer in the Daisy R&D Department. I was there for the transition of the DAISY Presidency from Cass Hough to Dick Daniel … and I enjoyed every meeting (several one-on-one meetings) that I had with Dick. Dick was an excellent engineer himself, and could make good decisions on technical issues … and Dick was instrumental in building the very nice new building for the R&D Department, where we worked many new products during the Seventies, including the first Pneumatic Air Rifles: The "Powerline" rifles, the first being the Model 880. But, beyond Dick's important leadership at DAISY, he was a huge contributor to the Rogers community!
