Richard "Rick" Keeton's Obituary
Richard “Rick” Thomas Keeton, 75, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, in Fresno, California. Born on March 2, 1951, Richard lived a life defined by hard work and adventure. He spent many years pursuing his passion for aviation as a pilot, a career that allowed him to experience the freedom of the skies he loved so much. Later in life, he continued with that adventurous spirit as an over-the-road truck driver, traveling the highways of America until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Keeton and Mary Ann Keeton. Richard will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the memories of those who knew him, the lives he touched, and the family he cherished. Though he is no longer with us, his presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Although he spent his final years in Fresno, California, Northwest Arkansas remained home in his heart. In retirement, Richard found great joy on the golf course, spending countless hours playing the game he loved and enjoying the friendships and memories it brought.
Richard is survived by his wife, Nadene Keeton of Fresno, California; his daughter, Kimberly Keeton, and grandson, Noah, of Rogers, Arkansas; and his daughter, Amber and husband James Barrick and grandsons, Liam and Jonathan, of Lowell, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday July 6, 2026 at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Arkansas. To place an online tribute, please visit www.bernafuneralhomes.com
