Richard Barron Lavender's Obituary
Richard Barron Lavender, age 61, of Springdale, AR, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was born July 19, 1960, in Astoria, OR, a son of the late Ben Roger Lavender and Sonia Ann Huff Lavender. Richard was a retired plant manager and attended Grace Point Church. He enjoyed hunting and playing a round of golf. He was also a huge fan and follower of the Georgia Bulldogs.
Survivors are his wife, Laura Lavender; his sons, David Lee Lavender (Natalie), Aaron Clifford Lavender (Laura), and his grandchildren, Mason, Dane, Reid and Ruby.
We will remember him for the great role model he was, and a great husband, father, grandfather, leader, manager, and soldier. His legacy will live on in his children and grandchildren as they strive to be like him. God has gained an amazing son in heaven.

Cremation arrangements are by Nelson Berna Funeral Home of Fayetteville. Burial of cremains will be held in the spring of 2022, at Antioch Christian Church in Watkinsville, GA. Memorials are preferred to Semper Fi & America’s Fund, 715 Broadway St, Quantico, VA, 22134.
