Richard 'Razor' Wayne Stewart's Obituary
Richard Wayne “Razor” Stewart, 69, of Bentonville, formerly of Elkins, died Monday, December 5, 2011 in Springdale.
He was born January 12, 1942 in Delaney, Arkansas, the son of Jesse and Edith Tackett Stewart. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a retired employee of Arkansas Western Gas. He loved photography, taking pictures of mountains and waterfalls and playing the guitar. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a 1961 graduate of Elkins High School.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Stewart of Elkins; two sisters, Norma Jean Wiles and her husband Thurman of Elkins and Mary Elizabeth Rieff and her husband Gerald of West Fork; two brothers, Loy Don Stewart and his wife Kay of Elkins and Kenneth Lee Stewart and his wife Shirley of Greenland and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 6 at Moore’s Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Moore’s Chapel and interment will be in Ledbetter Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Hatcher, Roger Hankins, Jerry Don Smith, Rex Baker, Mike Harris and Ervil Dean Skelton.
