John Bobel
Nate was a character in every sense of the word. Sports reporting was his life, and he made sense of the good, the bad, and the ugly of Razorback teams, coaches, administrators, and fans.
Working with Nate at KCCS, engineering the live play-by-play Missouri Tiger baseball home games, and watching him work was amazing, almost as amazing as getting the ancient college radio equipment to work, not to mention the infamous "Tiger Tee" sponsor commercials.
God bless Nate and his family. May his memories be a blessing to all who knew him, read his hundreds of columns, and encountered his blustering comments from time to time.
