This sad news has finally caught up with me. Bob and I served together in the 720th Military Police Battalion in Vietnam. We both worked in the Supply office for the battalion. Being in a war zone brings people together quickly. Over the years we had stayed in touch (usually around Veterans Day). I’ll miss that slow southern drawl.
