Robert F. DeMars' Obituary
Robert F. DeMars, 84 of Fayetteville died Wednesday, was called home to heaven Wednesday June 5, 2013 in Springdale. He was born November 1, 1928 in North Mankato, Minnesota the son of John DeMars and Bertha Scoffield-DeMars.
He and his wife, Edna moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1994 to retire. Edna his beloved wife of 52 years preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughter, Debra Cox of Fayetteville, son-in-law Raymond Cox of Fayetteville, daughter, Renee Collins of Fayetteville; sister, Grace Nelson of South Rapids, MN; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was very proud to have served in the U.S. Army during Korean Conflict and in the National Guard. He will be buried with Military Honors. We will always remember him for his devotion to family and his sense of humor. The family will have a graveside service later under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
