Robert Lee Foshe Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Lee Foshe Sr., age 60, of Elkins, Arkansas passed away Friday June 12, 2020 in Fayetteville. He was born July 16, 1959 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Luther and Nora Overbey Foshe. He married the love of his life Betty Patrick on July 23rd at the age of seventeen. Robert served in the Army National Guard for six years and worked as a truck driver until health required him to take an early retirement. He was a man of many talents, a hard worker and kept himself busy at all times. Robert raced cars, mowed lawns, coached his children in baseball and softball and was a go to handy man for many friends and family. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. You could always find him building toys, playing tag or enjoying any game they dragged him into. Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Howard Foshe.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Foshe; one daughter, Amy Fish and her husband Spencer of Dayton, Ohio; three sons, Robert Foshe Jr. and his wife Misty of Springdale; Tim Foshe and his wife Kinsley of McComb, Illinois; James Foshe and his wife Shana of Richmond Hill, Georgia; five sisters, Barbara Rogers, Ruth Slavens, Carolyn Foster, Mary Waddell, Linda Bolinger; four brothers, John Foshe, Joe Foshe, Jackie Foshe and Donald Foshe; eight grandchildren, Caleb Foshe, Hailey Roach, Zach Foshe, Hannah Roach, Aiden Foshe, Braden Foshe, Blake Foshe and Emmet Foshe.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday June 16, 2020 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Zion Christian Union Church, 4984 West Wedington Drive, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72704 with burial to follow at Woolsey Cemetery in West Fork under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
