Gene was my friend since he first moved to Arkansas from the dust bowl of Texas. We traveled many of the same roads. Class of 57 BHS, U of A College of Civil Engineering. Beaver Dam Construction. and others Even though I moved away from Arkansas 1965, Gene was a great "fighter" and I am proud to call him my life long friend
