Robert A. Keedy's Obituary
Robert A. Keedy left this earth August 6, 2019, surrounded by his family. Robert, or Bob as he preferred, is survived by his son Matthew A. Keedy, daughter-in-law Amanda H. Keedy, grandson’s Sawyer and Greyson Keedy, and Daughter Kelly A. Keedy. Bob’s wife Jeanna S. Keedy proceeded him, ascending to heaven just 11 months ago.
Bob was an Industrial Engineer with UPS for 35 years. In his retirement Bob was an avid golfer and passionate about sailing, spending many sunny summer days on either the course or the lake…and sometimes both. Bob was an amazing father and ‘Pepaw’ who’s zest for life and learning carried him through to his death. Extremely bright and successful in life, Bob inspired those around him to go above and beyond in all aspects of life. He was a patient and kind man who always had time for family, friends, and colleagues.
Bob was an active 32-degree Free Mason and veteran. He and his wife supported dozens of charities touching the lives of children, veterans, cancer patients, ALS sufferers, and many others in need across the United States.
Bob and his wife Jeanna travelled extensively in their later years. They saw the world together and now have rejoined for their journey into eternity. God speed!
A visitation will be held at 10:00am on Monday, August 12, 2019, at the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
