Robert V. Nash's Obituary
Robert V. Nash, age 96, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was born April 16, 1926, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to William and Bessie (Deaton) Nash. He is a member of First Baptist Church Fayetteville where he served as deacon and Sunday School teacher. In 1994 he moved to Fayetteville to be near the Razorbacks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Oleta; ten brothers, and two sisters.
He graduated from Arkadelphia High School, Ouachita Baptist University and Texas Wesleyan College. Bob spent 35 years in public education. Four years in Arkansas and 31 years as a teacher and administration in the Hurst, Euless and Bedford Texas school districts where he was named Teacher of the Year and later Administrator of the Year
He is survived by one son, Steve Nash of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday, February 20, 2023, at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
