My wife and I were UA students in 1980 when we got engaged. We bought her wedding ring from Mr. Perry at Perry Jewelers. We were young and really didn't know much about what we were doing. Mr. Perry was so nice and patient with us. He helped us through the entire process in a very comforting way. We were married in June 1981.

Periodically after that we would go into the store and he remembered us and he was always so nice to us. My wife and I will always have a very fond memory of him.

Oh, by the way, this June we will be celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary.

May he rest in peace.

Hoyt and Stephanie and everyone in Bob’s family. So very sorry for your loss. Brooke and I have a lot of great memories and stories of your Dad. I worked for him for eight years. We were customers of Perry's for years and were lucky enough to win the diamond they gave away in 1973 celebrating their 25th year of business if I remember correctly. Always enjoyed visiting with both Bob and Doris. Marilyn Sommers
