I will always be grateful to the Ryan family in so many ways. He was my neighbor and I enjoyed their hospitality when I went over to spend time with their daughter. Both he and Mrs Ryan were such encouragers throughout my life. When I started at UofA it was great seeing a familiar face when I was a bit anxious on what seemed like a huge campus. As a local journalist, I reported on his work with the parks board. Dr. Ryan’s talk matched his walk and his devotion to Christ was obvious. He doted on his daughter and cherished his wife. He served so many in nudging them to volunteerism. And apparently he gifted his daughter with a great sense of humor and ability to spin a great yarn. May God richly bless you with wonderful memories.
