Robert Bob Thornton, 93, of Bentonville, AR passed away peacefully on November 15, 2015 in Rogers, AR.Bob married his sweetheart, Frieda Lynch in 1943; she preceded him in death in 2014. He is also preceded in death by one son, Stephen Thornton.Bob is survived by one grandson, Stephen Thornton Jr. and one granddaughter, Judith Ann Thornton; 2 great-grandsons and 1 great-great grandson.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Bentonville City Cemetery with the Rev. Katie Cummings officiating.Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
