It is comforting to read these messages about our brother, Bob, the words of those who knew him well confirm that he was a chip-off-the-block that was our father, Paul Axsom. Thank you all.
I am so sad to hear Bob has passed on. When I didn't 't get a Christmas letter from Him and Jeanine last year I was afraid something had happened. Bob, I will surely will miss You.I 'm so sorry to hear this. God Bless, your cousin, Delma
Fair skies and tail winds. I'll miss hearing seeing you taxi down the ramp.
My brother Bob was always a great inspiration to me with a work ethic that rivaled my own and that of our father's. Even though he lived across the country, I enjoyed his unique Christmas letters. I am so grateful for the night in 2002 that I was able to have dinner with him and Jeanine in their southern California home. When he answered the door and I was bowled over by his striking resemblance to Dad. I loved the stories that he used to tell me about his life and career, our brother Drex whom we both loved, and the anything I could learn about the 16 years between our births. I regret I didn't get to see him at least one more time before he left us, but know that he is rejoicing with Jeanine and Dad right now.
Rest in Peace, Bob. I only knew Bob through online discussion, but learned many important things from Bob. As an engineer, I truly appreciated his approach to solutions. Recently, he responded to a comment at 2AM when he finished his work. He set a high standard for others to follow. Godspeed, Bob, you will be missed.
We'll miss you, Bob. Blue skies.

To all Bob's friends and family. I meet Bob a few years ago through racing. Over the years I observed that Bob always did the right thing, even when it was hard. He was an inspiration for me with his motivation and dedication to others. I will miss him. Happy trails racer Bob.
Go now and fly in peace.
