Uncle Rod, I loved you so much! There's no ONE memory that I could say to sum up all that you meant to me, but if I had to pick one of my favorites it would be sleepovers at your house. Jen, Morgan and I would give eachother makeovers will we watched movies and ate ice cream. You had THOUGHT that you got out of the makeover part when you took a nap on the couch only to wake-up to see we had put glittery clips in your hair and blush on your cheeks haha! You were such a good sport about it and after we were done lauhing we helped you get it all off. That was one of my favorite things about you, your kind spirit. I luv you, hope you're having a party with God and Grandma in Heaven.

Pete, Ann, Missy and Penny,

I'm so sorry to hear of Rodney's battle with cancer, and then of his death. I have such fond memories of our camping trips (Ramsey/Braden), and the pictures were a great reminder of those fun times together. After reading the tributes to Rodney, I wished that I had had the privilege of knowing the adult version of the "young Rodney" I remember. It's obvious that Rodney was an instrument of God's blessings in many people's lives. Praise God! I'm praying for each of you, and for Rodney's wife and daughters. May God's peace give you comfort. We serve a loving, merciful God!

Although it has been some time since I have flown through Fayetteville, I remember that Rodney was always cheerful, helpful and professional in his dealings with me and with those passengers he served.

I regret losing him, but I know that he will find peace and comfort with the Lord.

Rodney was a absolutely wonderful, caring individual. Always smiling, patient, and always full of laughter, making others laugh, the greatest gift to have and most lack. He will be greatly missed, he was a special person to everyone, but we will see him on the other side, it's sad he had to leave so soon, but I'm sure he is in heaven with a mighty crown!!!! I met Rodney very shortly after starting my job at ASA. I never forgot how kind and helpful he was that day. I always enjoyed seeing his smiling face when I opened the aircraft door upon our arrival into Fayetteville. He is sorely missed. My prayers are with his wife and daughters.

I was so sad to read about Rodney. He brought joy to so many peoples lives. Knowing him from school and then from business at the airport he never changed. He always was positive and very helpful. I know he will be missed by you all, and I know he loved his daughters, and wife, so very much. And I know the airport won't be the same without his smiling face and helpful attitude either.

We so enjoyed visiting with Rodney each time we traveled through the XNA airport. It was so nice visiting a few minutes and keeping up with all of you. We enjoyed seeing him at church, and our daughter, Beth, who is an ER Dr. in OK City got to visit with him a few months ago with her new babe and husband, when they came to 1st Bapt to visit us. We are saddened by his passing but know he is in a pain free place. Blessing and peace to all of you.
