Roger Kendrick Wade's Obituary
Roger Kendrick Wade “Gramps”, age 74, of Springdale, AR, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born March 10, 1950, in Fayetteville, AR, a son of the late Raymond Vernon Wade and Frances Wolfe Wade. Roger was retired from Arkansas Western Gas Company where he made many lifelong friends. A member of Astounding Grace Church in Hindsville, AR, where he served as a deacon and he loved to sing and play music for the Lord. He never met a stranger and had many friends that were just like family to him.
Surviving is his wife of fifty-three years, Anna Clyde Glover Wade; his daughters, Kara Richardson (James), Brandy Piazza (Travis); his grandchildren, Marley Kimbel (Caleb), Hailey Richardson, Gino Piazza, Grayce Richardson; his great-grandchildren, Caden Kimbel, Callen Kimbel; a sister, Connie Graham (Jack); and a dear sister-in-law, Aleta Mabry (Sam).
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 12, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 13, at Astounding Grace Church, 121 Madison 7392, Hindsville, AR, 72738. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery in Springdale.
